Today we made the last step of the project "Step by Step from school to labour market".
In 140 School "Ivan Bogorov" SOfia, NART team presented Kalina Valova and Margarita Sivcheva as professions in their fields of work.
The students were quite excited and asked many questions, concerning their future development and work plans afetr gradutation school.
Talking about Labour Market
Bora and Sinan were today at school 140 " Ivan Bogorov" in classes of 11th grade..talking about what difficulties and obstacles can a young person meet while looking for job after graduation. What are the strong features and key skills for successful integrationg on the labour market ..They have shared their experience and motivation to struggle for their dream job and answered many questions.
Job Interview section with the student in İvan Bogorov
Greetings from step by step team.This week in the school İvan Bogorov we had a workshop with 11 grade students about job interview.We tryied to explain them how to get ready for a job interview and how should be their behavior during the interview and then we tried to point out for some clues practically,for instance how to handshake properly to show that you are confıdent,how to keep eyes contact with interviewer,some more useful tips for them.
Job orientation test with the students in Ivan Bogorov
The last week one of the main purposes of step by step project was carried out by project team in School 140 Ivan Bogorov.As first step we implemented job orientation test with the students who are between 16-17 years old and 11. grade.
We aimed to see their interests and according to the test results wich areas-what kind of jobs match with their interests and skills.The results showed us mainly, biggest part of participants (%28) has good social skills and according to this information these people like to work with other people,rather than things.In the light of this information we tried to lead them.
As second part,one week later we also made a presentation to show the students how to prepare cv and motivation latter,which parts are important and on what they need to pay attention,which qualifications that they can put on their cv's without job experienceNext step is going to continue with the professionalls from labour market.
Promoting of EVS-ESC programs for students in Ivan Bogorov
We started to build warm relationship with the students.This week as an one our aim of project we promoted evs-esc projects and other oppurtunities for the students.We tried to clarifyed all the points of projects and explaiened how can they apply these projects? what are the projects about?what is the benefit and advantages of being volunteer.They were really excitef to know more and they asked us a lot of questions.
Meeting with the director and teachers in Ivan Bogorov
We had a meeting with the director of school and teachers to decide how we will progress with our program and schedule of our program in the school.We planned all details together,we were all agree with details.
